The TLE94112ELSHIELDTOBO1 from Infineon is a DC Motor Shield with a TLE94112EL for Arduino. The DC Motor Shield is a small evaluation board with a TLE94112EL for use with Arduinos. The TLE94112EL is capable of driving up to 6 small DC motors in parallel mode or up to 11 motors in cascade mode. The Shield can be controlled by a microcontroller via an SPI interface. For example, an Arduino Uno R3 or an Infineon XMC1100 starter kit can be used as the master. The board features Infineon’s TLE94112EL, a twelve-fold half-bridge driver with built-in MOSFETs. Each half-bridge can drive peak currents up to 0.9 A and DC currents over a range of 200 mA to 500 mA, depending on application conditions and the number of outputs enabled. The DC Motor Driver Shield has active reverse polarity protection with the IPD50P04P4L-11 P-Channel MOSFET. Outputs can be used standalone or combined to increase capacity up to 3.6A.
